On most servers, a macro or an AFK farm gets you banned. On AutoCraft they're part of the design. Write a macro, set up robots, chain hoppers into auto-crafters and sell chests, then log off. Your island keeps mining, farming, crafting and selling while you're away.

Progress comes from building a smarter setup and trading well on a real player market, not from holding down a mouse button for six hours.
